History

This is a firework that was created by Droughtman (these can be read about here).

  • November 2015 Note: currently these are not able to be lit using lighters or any of the other "fancy" flints, only a piece of black flint will work. A bug has been submitted.

Use

To light this firework, DROP the cylinder, hold a piece of black flint and a metal blade (knife, dagger, etc.), then LIGHT cylinder with flint. Unlike many other flammable items, you will not be able to light the cylinder while it is in a container nor when you have LOWER GROUND to place it at your feet, it must be dropped.
Once extinguished, you will be left with a blackened cylinder.

Atmospherics

Once lit, you will see the following messages in the room:

  • The wick on the sealed cylinder begins to burn quickly, hissing and sparking!
  • With a quick hiss, a light yellow fireball streaks into the sky!
  • A moment later, a stunning light yellow skyflower explodes into life, its flowing light yellow limbs stretching across the sky as they pop and swirl. A second glorious red skyflower blooms overhead, its sparkling silver petals drifting slowly downward as they snap and spark before fading into darkness as a sparkling red corona glows brightly behind it, crackling and snapping before fading into darkness.
