[[Hraige]] was one of the original seven [[Paladin]] [[Paladin Council|Councilmembers]] and a native of [[Hibarnhvidar]]. He was already middle aged by the time he met [[Syal]], and Hraige gave up his retirement and family to follow him. He became Syal's best friend and mentor. A master blacksmith, he forged most if not all of the original seven's armor. His last set of armor was donated to the council but is not on display -- studies on the properties of this set of armor have been in the works for some time. He saw many changes in the guild from when became a councilor, and much of what we know about early guild politics comes from his [[The Last Days of Hraige (book)|notes]] and private letters.
