Apprentice spells are a new newbie-friendly mechanic in the magic system. From 1st to 10th circle, you will now have free access to the Burden, Ease Burden, Manifest Force and Strange Arrow, analogous patterns spells. These free spells are removed at 11th circle, at which point you will need to use scrolls or permanently memorize one to continue using it.
