Detailed Information
Punch is a brawling maneuver.
Punch tends to be a somewhat fatiguing maneuver. Attacking again too soon can make this worse.
Punch tends to be balance building.
Punch is a very quick maneuver, but heavy or unbalanced weapons can slow the attack further.
Punch is more accurate than most maneuvers, and is best suited to impact weapons and least suited to both puncture and slice weapons.
Punch temporarily penalizes all defenses, but is equally suited to evasion, parry, and shield defenses.
Notes
- See Roundtime for brawling minimum roundtimes.
- Armor adds a small amount of damage based on its type, but only if you are wearing armor on the body part you are striking with. Brawling items such as knuckles, elbow spikes and footwraps override that bonus and convert the damage type of the limb they cover.
- Punch remains available while grappling. See Roundtime for brawling minimum roundtimes while grappled.
