pair of sleeved abyssium mesh gloves padded in stormsilk
Look: These gauntlets extend into full-length sleeves of dark abyssium mesh, providing seamless protection from upper-arm to fingertips. The dark black links are marked by shifting grey whorls that swirl into the shapes of jagged lightning bolts, which seem to strike and dissipate with every movement. Thick padding of cobalt-blue stormsilk lines the interior and palms, offering a soft but firm grip while insulating the hands against the heavy weight of the metal. The surface of each glove has an unusual sheen, and embedded somehow within the material on the back of each hand is a large, dull sigil. The sigil has a slight opalescent cast, but the actual material is a mystery.

>study my gloves
These gloves appear to be crafted for a magician of some sort. You think you can RUB, PINCH, SLAP, WAVE, RAISE, or CLENCH them.

>wear my gloves
The abyssium gloves slide effortlessly onto your hands. The fit is exquisite, as if they were tailored specifically for you. As you flex your fingers, the sigils on the backs of the gloves shimmer slightly.

>rub my gloves
The silvery sigils on your abyssium gloves glow with an intensely bright silvery-blue light before fading again.

>pinch my gloves
You lace your fingers together and loudly crack your knuckles. As you do so, a shower of silvery-blue sparks erupts from the sigils on the backs of your abyssium gloves.

>slap my gloves
You clap your gloved hands sharply together, sending translucent bolts of silver-blue energy humming suddenly from the sigils on the backs of your abyssium gloves!

>wave my gloves
Shaping an arcane sigil, you slowly wave your hand in an arc through the air. A bright trail of swirling silver-blue flakes streams out from the sigil on the back of the glove, leaving a long shifting rainbow tail like a comet behind it.

>raise my gloves
You thrust your gloved hand into the air over your head while shaping an arcane sigil. A column of silvery-blue energy shoots forcefully upwards from the sigil on your glove!

>clench my gloves
You raise your hand and slowly curl your fingers into a clenched fist. A disc of brilliant silver-blue light swells from the sigil on your glove, expanding and surrounding your hand with impenetrable blackness before slowly dissipating.

>remo gloves
Without any effort, the abyssium gloves slide themselves off of your hands. The silvery sigils on the backs of the gloves flicker once, then fade slowly.
