- STUDY: A small tag affixed to the spider details the instructions for using it:

- First person: You set the emerald-eyed spider atop your fingers and press down firmly, causing the small bead of webbing massed on its belly to fasten it in place.
- Third person: <Name> sets <his/her> emerald-eyed spider atop <his/her> fingers.
- REMOVE -
- First person: Giving a quick tug to release the webbing holding it in place, the emerald-eyed spider comes loose from its perch.
- Third person: <Name> snatches at <his/her> emerald-eyed spider. Grinning, <he/she> turns <his/her> palm over to display the unharmed spider.
- PULL -
- First person: You pull one of the emerald-eyed spider's legs and a web shoots out of its mouth, evaporating into a puff of smoke as it lands.

- Third person: The legs on <Name>'s emerald-eyed spider slowly curl up under its body, looking as though it is preparing to jump!

- First person: The emerald-eyed spider leaps off your hand and lowers itself to the ground, then quickly returns to its perch.
- Third person: The emerald-eyed spider leaps off <Name>'s hand and dives to the ground at breakneck speed, only to return back to the palm of its owner.
