>So, I noticed that the entire Whistling Woods forest area (and the road just outside) has been changed from Tropical to Boreal from this new creature addition. Was that intended?

I spoke to Kodius about this. Dev has the area set as boreal, and that was pushed out when the Adan'f area released (the areas are connected behind-the-scenes). He's not sure when or why it was previously set to tropical. Boreal is intended now.
