Description: The Ghost Shroud spell conjures a pall of spectral fog that obscures one from enemies. Projectile attacks -- targeted magic, thrown weapons, and bows -- will find it more difficult to strike any employing it. The amount of mana sustaining the spell will affect the pattern's strength, and thus the thickness of the barrier.
Effect: Reduces damage of incoming ranged and targeted attacks, hides your features, and changes your appearance in the room.
Example Messaging: You gesture.

A swirling grey fog surrounds you.

Devices/Tattoos: Grey inkpot painted with a swirling fog

Appearance

While under the effect of Ghost Shroud:

  • the player will appear in the room as "<Player> who is shrouded by swirling grey fog."
  • their features will appear as "Thick wisps of grey, semi-transparent fog slowly churn around <Player>, obscuring <his/her> features."
