This is most likely the case. Mana does not have a direct effect on accuracy where MR is not involved. Where MR is involved, mana reduces the penalty rather than providing a bonus. Semantics? Possibly, but a very important distinction nonetheless. That being said, when I get my fingers into the TM system rewrite a bit later this year the MR penalty to TM spells will be capped at the 'unTARGETed' level instead of potentially reducing accuracy to zero (and below!). - GM Wythor | |
