Description: The Eyes of Kertigen shall watch over you and your coin as you use this enchante, which heightens your skills of perception by a marked degree. Should you gain enough proficiency with the Eye, you may achieve the ability to sense the presence those who are hidden and invisible, and even knock those who are not in your group out of their concealment. It is rare the Bard that has seen this last, however, for it requires great skill and can be quite taxing to maintain.
Effect: Unknown
Example Messaging: Intro: Low, hummed tones form a soft backdrop for the opening notes of the "Eye of Kertigen" enchante.

Verse: The melody of your enchante turns to a more sonorous theme, dancing in a stately cadence that allows key words to linger upon the air.

Solo: A softly worded rendition of the main theme of "Eye of Kertigen" carries quietly through the area, skipping from measure to measure.

Devices/Tattoos: No devices or tattoos documented.

notes

  • This is a self-only enchante, meaning multiple Bards may perform it simultaneously.
Bug: This enchante cannot currently be played by multiple bards in the same room, although it used to be able to.
  • Provides a small boost to Perception skill. More mana will improve the boost.
  • Using at least 10 mana causes the Bard to glow, mimicing the effects of a torch.
  • Using at least 20 mana may allow the Bard to sense hidden or invisible people/creatures in the room. No spot effect is granted. This is a passive perception check on each pulse.
  • Using at least 41 mana may cause hidden or invisible people/creatures in the room to be pulled out of stealth. This is a passive perception check on each pulse.
  • Played QUIET, this will only give the perception bonus and light effects.
  • Played LOUD, this will give all effects.
