Are you just not in range or do the topics not interest you? Personally, I think an OOC channel would kill the game - and would kill it quickly. Just my opinion, but it changed the fundamental nature of the Platinum instance. Players adopt terrible habits when they have a place to act like they are 12... It also makes players MUCH less likely to roleplay. Evidence would suggest people are MUCH more likely to CHAT a Youtube link than get into character and reach out to people over gweths.
