Description
The grey-black butcherbird is large and plump, with disheveled plumage and a vicious beak bloody from a recent kill. It constantly turns its head to and fro, as though trying to see all directions at once. Its behavior is openly belligerent toward anything that moves.

Trivia
The butcherbird is, on Earth, another species of bird which behaves similarly to the shrike, Dergati's symbol. Butcherbird is also used as another name for shrike.
