When properly prepared as runestones, items containing this material may cast the Instinct spell.
Formerly it cast the Sphere of Protection spell.
Physical Properties
Per GM Persida: This is a Sphere of Protection runestone (sic). It is colorful, similar to the rainbows playing off the surface of a soap bubble.
Per Wikipedia: As a gemstone, elbaite is a desirable member of the tourmaline group because of the variety and depth of its colours and quality of the crystals.[1] It can possess many colors, such as green, red to pink, blue, orange, yellow, or colorless, multicolored.
