Description
Though nearly five feet tall, and equipped with a deadly set of curved horns, the ram seems more interested in chomping on grass than running down visitors to its home.
In Depth
- Note: Several of the rooms in Neer's Hummock where Thunder Rams are located (at least on the southern side, possibly the northern side as well)have rooms with shifting ground. In other words, it can be difficult to maintain balance when attacking (and will be noticeable by additional messaging, example:
You find it hard to maintain your footing.
< You slice a curved fiery-red moonblade at a thunder ram. A thunder ram fails to dodge, taking the full blow. The moonblade cuts a blazing arc through the water and lands a heavy (8/23) strike that painfully mashes several toes of the left foot.
[You're very beat up, winded, somewhat off balance with opponent in excellent position.]
[Roundtime 4 sec.]
Not sure if this is a result of low stats, or simply the way the area is designed. Use caution when hunting at-level. -Itharl (05/21/2011)
