The glacial token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Being such a mage with knowledge of the spell, you could INVOKE the glacial token to reshape the shadows that form your servant. The changes would take affect at its next summoning.

Were the glacial token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Base Description: "a flowing glacial Servant"
 Long Description: "a gloomily flowing glacial Shadow Servant composed of jagged black ice spires"
 LOOK Description: "Embodying the concept of absolute cold in the dead of night, this Shadow Servant is formed of sleek, semi-translucent umbral sheets.  Its arms are faceted and angular, ending in pointed crystalline fingers, while its core is a hollowed-out cavern of dark, frosted rime.  A murky, freezing mist spills from its mouth, which is set in a permanent, docile rictus that creaks faintly when the creature is asked to produce an item."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.
