Look
A short, slender Rakash woman with pale skin and black hair that spills straight over her shoulders and back. She mutters busily to herself as her thick-lashed moss green eyes scan left to right over her papers. Scars, hardened, raised, some faint on her skin and bruises in all stages of healing, pattern across her skin. These are the usual badges of the Empath Guild, giving no question to her profession.
She is wearing a feminine opalescent odaj and her slippers lay carelessly next to matching house slippers of the same pearly hues.
History
Mistakenly collected on a Trader's run as a baby, Lanita was named and taken in by "The Sisters." Not raised in the Rakash ways or to learn them, Lanita at first was ashamed of her Moonskin not knowing what it was. She went on avoiding all and anything linking her to her then 'beastly' form and this frustration added on to her rebellious stage in her adolescent years.
One full Katamba, while hiding from her Auntie's, like each moonskin, she found an injured and dying Rakash man. This was her very first encounter with any of her own kind. Together, they struggled through the language barrier and learned through their time with one another as she fought to keep him alive. She gave him hope unknowingly as he taught her the ways of her culture, that she was not the only one. This gave her pride and prodded her mind to research and seek out more. After a while, his body finally gave into the infection before she could ask more of the sensitive subject of the Migration and his time beyond the barrier as well as a lead on her biological mother, Lanita devoted herself to the Empath's Guild in the goal to one day go through life not losing another patient or person. She also hopes to allow a chance for others to not go through what she did. A chance to actively learn, enjoy themselves and socialize instead of wallowing in their ignorance.
