The TIE command can be used in a variety of contexts, including tying weapons to weapon straps with string, arranging a character's hair, and tying off gem pouches.
Usage and Syntax
Hair
>tie help The TIE verb is primarily used for altering your own or another's hair. Syntax: TIE MY HAIR TIE HAIR <PLAYER> Please note that a player's demeanor can affect messaging and/or your ability to TIE their hair at all. Your race can also affect messaging. Related (hair) verbs: BRAID, UNBRAID, MUSS, UNTIE, PULL <SELF>, COMB, ARRANGE.
Gem Pouches
Tying a gem pouch will allow you to continue putting gems in it but not open the pouch. Thieves also cannot steal from a tied pouch. A trader can untie it. Alternatively, you can sell it.
>open dark pouch The dark gem pouch has been tied off. You'll need to sell the contents before you can use it again. >l dark pouch The dark gem pouch has been tied off. The dark gem pouch is made for easy storage of gems, and is used by gemshops everywhere to handle bulk transactions.
