Does anybody know why Arilana is an elf while Galpelus is a merelew? --Basselope 22:18, 10 December 2007 (CST)

I don't know the exact specifics, but Arilana is an elf because she chose to be in order to live with and/or bear children with Vorclaf. It's essentially the Little Mermaid done Elanthia-style.--Symphaena 22:36, 10 December 2007 (CST)
