- STUDY: As you study the beetle, you think you could probably wear, remove, clean, flip, kiss, pinch, punish, rub, tap and tickle it.
- WEAR: You set your dung beetle on your shoulder. The beetle tenses briefly before getting a good grip.
- REMOVE: You carefully remove your dung beetle from your shoulder. The beetle squirms and tenses briefly before resigning itself to being picked up.
- CLEAN: Your dung beetle begins an elaborate grooming routine, using its mandibles to clean all of its legs before unfolding its membranous wings to clean them.
- FLIP when worn: You can't -- you're wearing it.
- FLIP when held: You try to flip your dung beetle onto its back for a belly rub, but the beetle quickly rights itself and clicks its mandibles at you.
- KISS when worn: You kiss a bulky dung beetle with a slightly curved horn!
- KISS when held: You think about kissing your dung beetle, but then you remember that it spends its days rolling around in dung and decide not to.
- PINCH: You give your dung beetle a squeeze. In response, the beetle jabs you with its horn. Ouch!
- PUNISH: You reach toward your dung beetle as if to squish it. In response, the beetle brandishes its horn warningly. On second thought, perhaps squishing it is not such a good idea.
- RUB: You gently pat your dung beetle on its thorax, and the beetle pulls its legs close to its body in a defensive posture. Evidently, it does not like to be rubbed.
- TAP: With one finger, you reach toward your dung beetle. The beetle investigates you with its long antennae.
- TICKLE: You try to tickle your dung beetle, but it grasps your finger with its legs and holds on tight. Did you really expect the beetle to laugh?
