In the real world, it is a natural occurring alloy of gold and silver with trace amount of other metals, sometimes known as "green gold" or "white gold". Appears pale yellow to yellowish-white in color.

In DragonRealms, it is still an alloy of gold and silver; However, Goldsmith Adaerna Mirglyn claims it to be an old Gnomish metallurgy recipe.
