I think we should do away with the "Special" on this page, and use it more to talk about "materials" in general. We're getting more and more materials, and likely the list is going to keep growing. When crafting finally arrives, it will be a useful page for briefly talking about the different materials that can be foraged, mined, harvested, worked, used in alterations, etc.-[[User:Hrodberacht|Hrodberacht]] 02:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Break Up

This should be broken into individual articles. -Caraamon Strugr-Makdasi(talk) 17:10, 29 July 2008 (CDT)

I disagree. I dislike the trend on the wiki of breaking up every single individual aspect of a topic into its own article; it makes the wiki harder to read, harder to navigate and harder to find what you're looking for. There should be redirects for each material that point to the appropriate sections on this page. The exception should be when there is a great deal of additional information on one thing, ala chakrel. Reene 22:38, 29 July 2008 (CDT)
I disagree as well. There is not enough information about each individual material to constitute individual articles for everything. I agree with Reene in that something that has a lot of information can have it's own page... otherwise... let's not get carried away *coughs* Titles *coughs*--Naeya (talk) 23:19, 29 July 2008 (CDT)
I disagree, I think that every separate theme should have it's own page. Just because we don't have a lot of information doesn't mean we won't eventually. But I shall bow to the majority. -Caraamon Strugr-Makdasi(talk) 19:39, 30 July 2008 (CDT)
When we do, to the point that the article becomes more cumbersome and lengthy than it should be, then I will agree. Until then, I think this format works with the scant information we have. It's not like we can't change it at a later date. =) Reene 03:09, 31 July 2008 (CDT)

Exclusive or Inclusive

I think we should do away with the "Special" on this page, and use it more to talk about "materials" in general. We're getting more and more materials, and likely the list is going to keep growing. When crafting finally arrives, it will be a useful page for briefly talking about the different materials that can be foraged, mined, harvested, worked, used in alterations, etc.-Hrodberacht 02:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

I'll tentatively agree to it. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 12:04, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
