About

The White Gladiolus Society is a social club catering to Zoluren's citizens and all friends of the province. Our main purpose is to host social events across Zoluren, from balls and galas to game nights, shopping faires, and much more!

We aren't a sanctioned Order, so there aren't any conflicts if you're already a part of other groups or clubs.

Membership comes with a few perks, including a free trustee level membership to the Raven's Court.

Members are also encouraged to branch out and grow their own hosting and roleplay capabilities, utilizing the Society's resources. If you have ideas for events or projects to tackle, give a shout and let's do what we can to get the ball rolling!

White Gladiolus Greenhouse

A gathering spot and venue for events, the White Gladiolus Greenhouse is located outside Crossing's west gate, at the edge of the Lake of Dreams. It is open to the public.

Here at the highest point of the knoll, you are met by a cool breeze rising up from the hollow. Tiny fireflies meander through the darkness, congregating more heavily near the shimmering trees and moonlit lake.
You also see a scintillating glass greenhouse and a rough trench.
Obvious paths: south.

Daytime Description:

[Lake of Dreams, White Gladiolus Greenhouse]
Nestled between Mycthengelde and the Lake of Dreams, a verdant hollow is encased in glass to form a greenhouse that is filled with frilled gladiolus blossoms. Long tables placed at the center of the building are dressed in silk and ivy, each lit by rows of flickering candles. Gentle ripples drift across the silvery surface of the nearby water, evidence of the stately procession of a pair of graceful white swans.
You also see a small raised stage with a gilded podium, a wooden dance floor sheltered beneath a white silk canopy and a signup list.

Night Description:

[Lake of Dreams, White Gladiolus Greenhouse]
The deep, heady scent of gladiolus blossoms lingers in the night air, pervading a verdant lakeside hollow encased in glass and cloaked in darkness. Rows of candles throw dancing shadows across long tables placed at the center of the building. Flickering fireflies bob gently to and fro, their mesmerizing light reflected upon the placid surface of the nearby water.
You also see a small raised stage with a gilded podium, a wooden dance floor sheltered beneath a white silk canopy and a signup list.

White silk curtains frame the modest stage, and at the corner of the platform rests a stately lectern.  Engraved upon its front panel is a crest depicting a pair of mirrored swans with their wings displayed grandly, haloed by a wreath of acacia branches limned in delicate gold leaf.

Affixed to one edge of the brightly polished veneer, a bronze plaque is neatly engraved to read, "Property of the Dancing Swan Catering Company."

Zoluren Arts: A Province in Concert	1 Akroeg 435 (06/30/2020)	Attendees were invited to join us in the beautiful Yulugri Wala theater in Arthe Dale for a sweeping tour of the province, in the form of song, dance, tale-telling, and more.
Zoluren Defense Discussion	6 Moliko 448 (03/22/2024)	The White Gladiolus Society called once again upon the province's adventuring populace to rise up and make preparations for its defense. Attendees were invited to join for an invocation to Rutilor, engage in further discussion regarding the numerous threats encroaching upon our province, and step forward to aid the burgeoning defense force forming to meet those threats.

Local chefs and visiting culinarians alike battled ladle-to-ladle, crafting dishes that celebrated the heart of the Hub. This round's featured ingredient was the flavorful fan-tailed warbler.

Zoluren Community Forum	34 Lirisa 451 (12/14/2024)	Illiya presented a recap of current events, including a debrief with the Zoluren Navy's Admiral Komiro Chelochi and Socialite Mevera Redthorne regarding a recent scuffle with Srinoja's pirates. Allye provided catering and an update on past and upcoming White Gladiolus Society events. The meeting was interrupted by Asildu making grand threats on the gweth, and attendees adjourned from the meeting to confront him in Kaerna.

Admiral Komiro was in attendance and ensured that he and his father were well-informed about the community's plans.

Avrenka shared his experience attempting to harness society, which led to a passionate discussion about the role of the Immortals, and the risks of freeing captives. Allye provided catering and an update on past and upcoming White Gladiolus Society events. As attendees brainstormed ideas for Asildu's rescue, the man (?) himself appeared in Kaerna. As the group's ideas were presented to him, he indicated there was no particular safe location, but that the idea of locating the Heralds' artifacts had promise.

Saragos reported on the recent Zoluren Defense patrol, Zynell shared several recent Immortals' visions, Lexxa reported on the discovery of a bell artifact that was destroyed and Casari shared a memory of the bell's forging that was evoked at the time. Attendees discussed the recent attack on Riverhaven by the raider Dioe and his followers. As the meeting closed, Liraxed appeared on the gweth to report that the Heralds will likely attack the machine soon with drakes, and that we may be called upon to defend it.
