Craftspeople from (somewhere - jungles around Fang Cove maybe?) have learned to use the tail feathers of the peacock plus crushed gemstones to create a scintillating fiber that weavers then use to create luxurious fabrics.
Crafted from the long train feathers of the peacock, the long barbs are combined with down to form the basis of the fiber, which is then spun into fibers of varying thicknesses. These threads are then treated in a secret process that involves feathers from the eyespots as well as crushed gemstones, with the end result being a scintillating fiber that shimmers and possesses a blue-green sheen resembling the peacock's own plumage.
Note
While players can't currently find this in its base form, they will see it's impact in plumette damask, samite, taffeta, and velvet.
