Tuesday Tidings 70 release.
Description
The wight is a loathesome thing. Though perhaps a similar height to a short Human if it stood upon straight legs, it is bent and hunched from its eternal grubbing in graves, charnel pits, and other unsavory places for its sustenance. Dark grey skin covered with mold and rot covers a bony but powerful frame. Deep-set eyes constantly search for prey, while a wide nose snuffles every breeze for the taint of rot it craves. Faster and more cunning than its simpler kin, the wight is not content with waiting for prey, but will go out and search for it, straying far from home, wherever or whenever that may once have been.
In Depth
Special Attacks
Wights have the same special attacks as Ghouls and seem to appear in variance also like the Ghouls. Tall, short, and so forth.
Seems to be three variants. One with a shortbow and blunt-tip arrows. You get a blunt tip arrow from inside your suede satchel. >app arrow > This appears to be ammunition for bows.
You are certain that it could do:
no (0/28) puncture damage no (0/28) slice damage fair (5/28) impact damage no (0/28) fire damage no (0/28) cold damage no (0/28) electric damage
You are certain that the blunt tip arrow is quite fragile and easily damaged (3/18) and is in pristine condition (100%).
You are certain that the blunt tip arrow weighs exactly 1 stone. You are certain that the blunt tip arrow is worth exactly 100 Lirums.
One with a muddy sling and small stones, which explode once they are fired at you.
The small rock hits the ground and shatters to pieces!
and the third has a longbow and barbed arrows.
The forager wight reaches up to its neck and dislodges something. With preternatural speed, he tosses it at you!
An engorged blood worm thumps squishily off of your small shield!
The pest rolls to the ground and disappears into the muck. The forager wight swipes at you, his withered hands coated in a viscous, dark liquid!
The forager wight swipes at you, his withered hands coated in a viscous, dark liquid! To your horror, the forager wight's goopy hand slashes into your right arm! The world around you seems to speed up disjointedly, too fast for you to follow. Your actions are slowed as your body refuses to react in time! The damage is minimal, but you've clearly been affected by something decidedly not good.
Eyes gleaming with malice, the forager wight suddenly moves with unexpected speed, leaping high into the air with his legs tucked beneath him. At the last moment, he kicks out towards you! You block a rotting right stump with your small shield! You duck under a rotting left stump!
also seem to be able to hinder your retreating You try to back away from a tall forager wight, but he is hot on your heels!
The forager wight leaps from hiding! The forager wight crumbles into a jumbled pile of carrion, vile liquids and crawling monstrosities. Whatever force previously animated it has given up its claim to the decaying corpse.
