A Biter is the name given to an extremely rare subterranean reptile with icy breath. It was thought to be unique, with a perfectly preserved specimen frozen in ice in a forgotten mine near [[Stone Clan]], but a second such creature made an appearance in [[Corik's Secret: Treasures of the Tomb|Corik's tomb]]. |

General Information
A Biter is the name given to an extremely rare subterranean reptile with icy breath. It was thought to be unique, with a perfectly preserved specimen frozen in ice in a forgotten mine near Stone Clan, but a second such creature made an appearance in Corik's tomb.
The creatures apparently breed prolifically, but either take an extremely long time to grow or rarely reach maturity, as evidenced by the swarms of beisswurms that have infested the caverns near Stone Clan for the past several decades.
