How to sign up to participate
If you wish to participate in a particular tournament, you will need to:
- Show up to the Arena via your local Meeting portal, then GO ARCH
- Speak to the Tournament Director and inform them of your combat skills (commonly measured by your shield, evasion, and either your Targeted Magic or your primary weapon, whichever of the two is higher)
- Tournament Director will match people up according to similar skills as best as possible
- Wait for your match to be called
- Personal/direct matches can be requested - you can whisper to the Tournament Director if you want to fight someone specifically, and they will reach out to the other person for acceptance
Formal Challenges
To issue a formal challenge, visit the Standings Page of The Wyvern Trials Website. Click on the Formal Challenges link at the top of the page. You then need to enter the name of the player you wish to challenge and click CHALLENGE!
The website will send your opponent an email alerting them of your desire to challenge them. The recipient of the challenge has 3 days to meet their challenger in game and compete.
- Formal challenges may be issued to anyone of equal or higher rank than yourself.
- You must be a ranked member of the ladder to issue a challenge.
- This means you will have to first compete in a tournament.
- If a formal challenge is unmet after 3 days, it is marked as failed.
- Three failed matches result in the offending player being automatically moved to the "penalty box".
- While in the box, they may not compete in any events. They must contact an admin to be moved out of the box.

Sparring
Anyone can spar with another member of the ladder and report this match to effect both player's standings on the ladder, with or without a formal challenge first. CHALLENGE your opponent, fight your fight, and report the match!
Reporting Challenges and Spars
After a formal challenge or a spar, the loser of the match visits the The Wyvern Trials website to report the result on the Standings Page by clicking the Report a Loss link.
