Description

You see Assassin Queen Dyamond Arkarm, Nightmistress of The Locksmith Union, an Elven Thief.

Dyamond has a heart-shaped face with laugh lines, pointed ears, sparkling sapphire eyes and dimples. Her red-gold-streaked honey hair is very long and curly, and is worn loose, tucked behind her ears. She has fair skin and a lithe figure.

She is tiny for an Elf.

An ethereal night diamond adorned with an intaglio small guardhouse nestles at the top of her forehead, brightened by faint, darting sparkles deep within the gem.

She appears to be young.

Her left hip has a tattoo of a sinuous black panther. The large cat follows the curve of her body, its tail curling down around her left thigh while it grasps a stunning midnight diamond in its mouth. Swirling shadows around the panther curl across her skin in wisps, ending at her navel.

She is holding a silver marnet in her right hand.

She is wearing a hooded silverweave cowl lined with softened nightmare black leather, an elegant tyrium circlet displaying diamond dusted flames, a dark steel eyebrow ring accented with a tiny lockpick,a shadowy spider earring with the image of a blank charger shrouded by a concealing veil etched into its abdomen, a pair of tyrium earrings shaped like flames, an azure crystal medallion embellished by night diamonds, a black leather choker inset with a stunning midnight diamond, a masked tiger shrike charm, a hooded shadow-black cloak clasped at the neck with a small diamond dagger, a diamond-encrusted black leather corset, some form-fitting leathers fashioned with tyrium and night diamonds, a diamond-shaped buckler depicting the Arkarm family crest, a coiling silversteel serpent bracelet with night diamond eyes, a wide wristcuff of engraved tyrium, some steel hand claws tipped with sharpened black katambite stained with gold, some black hand wrappings laced with silver threads, a lifesculpted dull ebony durgauldite and tyrium ring, a dark crystal ring cut to resemble lurid shadows, an engraved platinum ring displaying an exquisite black diamond, a dark velvet reticule with soft satin ties, some low waisted leather pants with a flowing silk train, some steelsilk footwraps, a pair of strappy leather shoes with molded tyrium heels and a gold-plated parry stick set with shimmering white diamonds.

MORGANAE’S MOST WANTED

PROFILE: Dyamond Arkarm

DOB: The 34th day of the 4th month of Shorka the Cobra in the year of the Silver Unicorn, 301 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

CRIME: Wanted for crimes against the honor of Queen Morganae Sunderstone, Consorting with defamed Merchant and Sculptor Uwresari, and other crimes against the state. She is hunted by the Queen’s guard, Herrick, and banned from the province of Therengia. (really, who isn’t banned from Theren, tho?)

Family Ties: This hardened criminal was apparently adopted by Thanlon and Ellia when she showed up lost and alone on the streets of Crossing. She was later adopted into the Arkarm Crime Family by Zamn Arkarm. Long ago, she was married to Hworang, but claims to have not realized that he is a lizard; it took her 7 years to notice. She is the guardian of Amazing Danger Arkarm Marnet (Adam for short) whose ravenous appetite has been rumored to bring entire provinces to their knees. Her questionable family business, and fiendish friendships give further credence to the danger this outlaw presents.

Criminal Profile

Criminals come in all shapes and sizes, and while one may appreciate the shape and size of one Dyamond Arkarm, it would behoove those who wish to bring her to justice to fully understand the extent of her crimes. After participating in a game run by, the now deceased, merchant Uwresari, Miss Arkarm was the winner of a masterfully crafted statue of the beloved queen of the mountain elves, Queen Morganae Sunderstone. She was instructed to care for the statue and treat it with the respect it deserved. Apparently, she did not understand, for with in days of winning, she and a team of hoodlums melted it down for its metal!

Queen Morganae, insulted and upset beyond comfort, commanded Captain Herrick to hunt and kill Dyamond and her band of dastardly doers in retribution for their crimes against her sullied honor. (sullied people!! the Queen was sullied!) She sent him forth to search every corner of the realms, demanding that they be brought to justice! The giant pink Kaldar barbarian, Squanto Longstalk, renounced his involvement in the melting, stating he was not sure who the Queen even was. (we believe him because a sneeze from Squanto Longstalk can knock the scales right off the world dragon, if it even dared to face him!) Herrick, the lap dog of the Queen (meant in the kindest, most respectful way possible) went forth and began his hunt of the stunning and kind Miss Arkarm. He found her hunting and drew forth his spear and impaled her in retribution for her disrespect. He then attacked and killed the gentle human, Zamn Arkarm, who was merely coming to her aid.

Captain Herrick declared her hunted and promised to haunt her dreams and strike her down willy nilly until her soul forever walked the starry road. (He is a bit dramatic)

While it was stated the the merchant Uwresari was not to blame for the fate of the statue once it left his possession, the Queen's hurt feelings tainted his reputation and he would never again be the same. It is possible that Uwresari's blatant crush on the lovely Dyamond Arkarm was his downfall, despite his best efforts to condemn her. The following Hallow's Eve fest he banned her from the shop, and in spite of his failing health, caused by the slow poisoning ordered by the Queen Snarky-pants, he ventured forth many times to gaze upon her beauty while ranting inanely as to not blow his cover. (no proof of poisoning, but talk to Her Highness about the snarky-pants, there is proof there)

Uwresari's last acts of strength were to venture forth and remind Miss Arkarm of the fate she created for him, while gazing upon her lovely visage. He even commented on how he would love to help her care for Adam! He left her a final love note, before being escorted to the Starry Road by the Queen's poison:

"Dyamond and you worthless bunch of twits. I cannot fathom how unbelievably stupid you are, how you cannot comprehend what consequences your actions have. I hope Herrick haunts you until the end of your days. Love, Uwresari."

Newsflash! Update! More Important Information!

Wanted by many, captured by one. Our nefarious Ms. Arkarm has stolen the heart of the fire mage Erixx Arkarm ( no relation) and the dastardly duo are set to be married. We wish them days of fire rain and nights under the stars... or prison. Oh, who are we kidding, they are cute.

NEW NEW NEW NEWS

Some fires are just to hot to handle, and the combined heat of the combustible Dyamond and the fiery Erixx was just to much for the realms to handle. The couple has parted ways, they have given up their happiness to keep Elanthia from imploding because of the awesome. Feel free to thank them, they accept platinum coins in sets of 1000 or more.

The CLOAK.. because you know you want more information!

Auctions make for interesting wares, and Guildfest 413 did not disappoint! Cesiro claims that he was approached by a well-dressed S'Kra who gave him a cloak to auction away, he called it odd, in a good way. Owned by some one stealthy, whose name is lost to history, the cloak is reported to be blessed by Damaris and wearing the hood gives its owner the ability to blend into shadows! Well, no one is more fit to wear a cloak of this quality than Dyamond Arkarm, and wear it she will! (it is rare that an item is worthy, this cloak is indeed special.)

Recall:
You stride boldly through the market plaza, as if you have every right to be there.

A mounted patrol of guardsmen thunder by you, the wind of their movement stirring the thin folds of your grey cloak.

"The artifact *will* be found, or the Mayor will have our heads! Do you hear, leave no stone unturned!"

One guardsman catches your eye. You smile and salute him jauntily, adjusting the lootsack tied to your belt to better distribute its weight. As the last light of the sunlight fades and the sky turns the color of spilled ink, you whistle a snatch of a nightingale's song. Night is here in earnest now, and the night belongs to you.

You settle the grey cloak about your shoulders, the supple fabric a weighty presence at your back.

Features:
Looking at your cloak, you feel certain that you could: SHAKE, HUG, PULL, WAVE, KISS and RUB it.

You also believe you could TURN it to hide your features, and possibly your own movements from prying eyes, if the conditions are right.

Look:

Though otherwise very plain in design, the garment bears a deeply cowled hood with an additional piece of fabric attached to its lower bottom half, further allowing for obfuscation of the wearer's facial features. The small pewter clasp is unadorned on its outer surface, though a simple closed eye design is etched into its reverse.
