  • Rothov has an item enchantment that will randomly produce live foods.
  • As per the original post from GM Naohhi in November, 2014:
Here's what's changed:
Any old "live food" items will still work, but will not give the cool messaging anymore.
Live food will no longer "die and rot." This means you can take lunch with you.
Birds and various forms of reptiles are now possible for us to make edible and are available in the Grove (past cougars.)
Empaths will get a warning each time they attempt to EAT or kill a live food item. This also gives a 3 second roundtime to help save you from shock.
Prydaen Empaths can now enjoy the vicious, animal-destroying messaging associated with live food.
Non Prydaen will find themselves with a mouthful of blood when eating live food.
No more ridiculous purring while eating living creatures, just death and death and death.
What's still the same?
Prydaen are disgusting and vicious eaters. (Yay.)
Live food runs away if you drop it. Duh.
Empaths can still get shock from killing live food or eating it.
The verb to kill live food is still the same. Ask someone that is not me to learn what it is.
