moonsilver chainmail handflower resembling a luminous peacock feather centered with a gem
Look: Anchored to a slender wristcuff, hundreds of tiny silver rings join together, creating a wide teardrop-shaped mesh panel designed to drape across the back of the hand before ending in a dainty finger loop. Blued, blackened and verdant moonsilver threaded through the argent hoops depict a magnificent peacock feather, its eye-shaped center large enough to hold a single gem. The luminous metals, each radiating their own distinct glow, give the shimmering chainmail a colorful corona. An empty gem setting mars the handflower's appearance slightly.

The handflower appears to be capable of holding a single gem.
You think that to put a gem into the socket, you need to PUT the gem in the handflower.
You also think that in order to get a gem back out, you can GET the gem FROM the handflower again while holding it.
You think you can also RUB, TAP, TOUCH and CLEAN the handflower.
The handflower seems to be missing a gem.

  • RUB: You run your finger lightly along the edge of your handflower, frowning slightly at the empty gem setting.
  • TAP: You tap out a rhythmic beat on the edge of your handflower.
  • TOUCH: You gently touch the handflower, running your fingers along its edges.
  • CLEAN: You carefully clean the handflower with a bit of cloth, burnishing away any dirt or grime marring its surface.
