Description

Once likely someone's art hobby, this origami <creature> is animated by an unknown, magical force. It looks surprisingly hostile, and its drawn-on eyes peer forward with what may be a superimposed intelligence. Although made from paper, the origami <creature> looks like it's been hardened by the magic, making it much stronger and more durable than if it were simple paper.

In Depth

Comes in a variety of colors and shapes.

Colors: Black, Grey, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, Striped or White
Shapes: Bird, Cow, Dragon, Duck, Goblin, Grasshopper, Hat, Mouse, Sprite, or Yak

Instead of becoming cut and bruised, they become torn and crumpled.
Appears to be discrepancy between areas within Mill. Those outside of windows train better than ones inside.

3.0

The ones outside the window teach defenses incredibly well, all the way up to their hard cap of 74.
Weapons and TM slowed down past 50 and effectively cap at 60. Couldn't get past dabbling at 61 ranks.

Although they swarm, and swarm hard, in 20+ hours of hunting, received one light hit in chain armor. They are completely harmless.

Being very hindered in stealth, with 49 ranks, usually needed rising mists to hide, but could lock stealth with a little perseverance.

They tend to drop about 40 coin each, with the very occasional gem.

3.1: Defense soft cap around 55 - Weapons slow about 40

Recall

Coming in many different colors and sizes, these strange creatures are simply folded origami projects that have been animated by an outside source. They are typically found in old shops, paper mills and occasionally gathering spots where completed projects are discarded.

Once attributed to be creations of the mad toy merchant Hobglup, this theory has since been discredited by his death. These are sometimes rumored to be fueled by anger at being abandoned by their maker, although more practical theories say that they are animated by a mage of some sort.
