Covellite will make great tongs. You have to mix it with a 7-3 ratio of another material though. It will not work with any material under 8 density with that ratio though. Silver and Lead are great options to use. If you try to increase the ratio to 6-4 with a less dense material you will end up with a Covellite-alloy Tong and lose the effectiveness.
Covellite will make great tongs. You have to mix it with a material with more than 6.2 density. Anything less than that will break the ingot on the anvil. (silver/lead/bronze work great for this)

Tongs are a crafting tool used in Blacksmithing, Weaponsmithing, and Armorsmithing.

See Crafting Tools for details.

Creation and Repair

Tongs can be created using forging techniques that fall under the Blacksmithing discipline.

Likewise, their repair falls under the same skills, with standard processes for metal tool repair.

Templates

Tongs use material thermal resistance to derive their effectiveness.
