This item is styled or has special functions for Moon Mages.

The blazing token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Being such a mage with knowledge of the spell, you could INVOKE the blazing token to reshape the shadows that form your servant. The changes would take affect at its next summoning.

Were the blazing token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Base Description: "a darkly blazing Servant"
 Long Description: "a darkly blazing Shadow Servant with flickering arms and a roiling umbral core"
 LOOK Description: "This roughly humanoid Shadow Servant is a living conflagration of heatless black flames.  Its arms are constant, flickering tongues of shadow that lick upward, and its body is a churning kiln of dark, smokeless fire.  The creature's mouth is a wide rift that occasionally exhales a puff of insubstantial shadow-soot, though its overall demeanor remains sluggish and submissive."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.
