Deep wooden shelves reinforced with wrought iron cross-braces run the length of the shop, from floor to ceiling. Each shelf supports a sofa, divan, chaise or some other example of the furniture-maker's art. Near the doorway, a S'Kra Mur man hunches over a workbench as he carves an elaborate ball and dragon-claw foot for a half-finished sofa.
