Description
The scaled atik'et resembles a slightly built S'Kra Mur woman with golden scales and a fiery crest atop her head. Flickering flames dance back and forth from finger to finger, and her lips are parted in a soft, hissing croon.
Anatomy Chart
The atik'et resembles a slightly built S'Kra Mur woman with golden scales and a fiery crest atop her head. Her vertically slitted eyes are a piercing cerulean, sharp brow-ridges giving her the fearsome, proud aspect of a bird of prey. Her face is angular and bony, her head held at an arrogant tilt. Blue-white lava, haloed in gold and fiery red, arcs from the the painted ground to one of her upraised hands.
In Depth
There are three tiers of atik'et within the Gate of Souls area. These are the easiest atik'et on the Blasted Plain and may either be golden or red-gold in color. The intermediate Red-Gold Scaled Atik'et are in the Temple of Ushnish. Highest tier of Atik'ets are the more powerful of the two Red-Gold Scaled Atik'ets and are down the cliff behind the temple, in an area known as The Fangs of Ushnish.
Also in this atik'et area are Young Firecats.
Special Defenses
The atik'et appears immune to fire.
Equipment
They carry either scimitars or greatswords.
Spells
Casts Ethereal Shield, Sure Footing, and Fire Shards.
Notes
Box drop rate is medium, can be carefully disarmed and picked with ~100 ranks of locksmithing. They teach slightly better than the firecats and should do well into the 120-130 range for defense skills. Tend to cast fire shard semi-frequently, which hampers their learning potential
