Hren Nebban was a friend of Geoff Graev. Their correspondence over the course of many years became the basis for The Emerald Chronicles, a book that chronicles the creation of the Emerald Knights and Graev's rise to the highest position within the group.
Hren's daughter, Hindrelgaarde (called Tijit) eventually became Graev's successor as the third leader of the Emerald Knights.
