Description: A matrix built around the two fundamental healing spells, Heal attempts to locate and heal the worst wounds of the Empath, doing whatever correction is necessary to bring his body to wholeness. The Empath can specifically cast it with wounds or scars in mind to focus the spell upon the worst injury of the given type, or allow it to do its best for both. The spell can heal multiple injuries with enough potency, but it is very inefficient at doing so.

Notes

Syntax: CAST
CAST <WOUND | SCAR>

This spell will attempt to locate and heal the worst damage on the Empath.

- If you do a general cast, it will look through both fresh wounds and scars for the worst wound.

- If you specify WOUND or SCAR, it will search for the worst damage of the type indicated.

The HEAL spell is capable of attempting multiple heals with a single cast, but a substantial amount of power is lost between each new wound, so it is not very efficient in terms of power usage for multiple heals in a single cast.

To forestall debate, let me make this clear right up front. HEAL is not intended to be a primary means of healing, although it certainly can be used that way with sufficient skill. It is not as easy to cast nor as mana efficient as HW/HS, and is not intended to replace those spells. Instead, Heal is intended for one primary purpose and one small but useful secondary -- emergency healing when you need to get the worst wounds under control now and don't have the time/luxury/desire to try to prioritize yourself; and...well...let's just say as long as you are wounded, it will find and heal the worst wounds. Even if the worst wound is just 1 pt. Think about it, and I'm sure you will see a use or two for this.
