You must first {{com|prepare}} a spell in order to target it, and the spell must be targetable. Some spells are prevented from targeting specific body parts.

Targeting a spell changes the message you will see when the spell is ready to cast. The spell is ready when you receive the message that the formation of the targeting pattern has completed.

The TARGET command is used to direct the energies of a targeted spell before the spell is CAST.

You must first PREPARE a spell in order to target it, and the spell must be targetable. Some spells are prevented from targeting specific body parts.

Targeting a spell changes the message you will see when the spell is ready to cast. The spell is ready when you receive the message that the formation of the targeting pattern has completed.

Syntax

  • TARGET -- will default to the creature you are facing
  • TARGET <player>
  • TARGET <creature>
  • TARGET <player/creature> <location> -- target specific body areas on the indicated victim
  • TARGET <location> -- target indicated body area on the target you are facing
