First released during Hollow Eve Festival 458.
Eidolicite is not mined but created when finely worked glass is shaped using water blessed by a Zachriedek-aligned Cleric and tools bearing the unique curse of the same god's mischievous fae servants, gremlins, who delight in frustrating craftspeople the world over. Together, the blessing and curse create a contradictory matrix that allows the material to shift between the rigid permanence of glass and the malleability of soft metal whenever its bearer is willing to sacrifice a small portion of their spirit to BLESS or SHAPE the item. BLESS needs a Cleric or a Paladin to function properly.
Common Description
Fashioned from an unusual glassy substance, the polished opaque piece displays a glossy finish punctuated by a reflective chatoyance that shimmers as it catches the light.
