Appearence

He is Tinker Kohako Lemengard, Adoption Agent of Saemaus, a Gnome Trader.

He has a triangular face with laugh lines, pointed ears, sparkling violet eyes, a button nose and dimples. His white-streaked grey hair is short and peppered, and is worn cropped along the sides and sleekly combed back. He has copper skin and a stout build.

He is slightly under average height for a Gnome.

He is young.

He has a carefully groomed mustache that connects to a short, tidy beard.

Possessions

As a follower of Saemaus, Kohako has a great fondness for items made with loveglass or those depicting a donkey. He is also an avid fisherman and wears a few trinkets carved from belzune for good luck. One other thing that has always attracted him is items made by the fae, like faeweave or faesilk.

He is wearing a cap of patchwork love notes, a belzune earcuff, a rusted iron hook, a heart-shaped loveglass token festooned with spun rainbow ribbons, a Romantic Ballad peony, a loveglass pilgrim's badge shaped like a tipsy donkey, a leather tinker's vest lined with tiny pockets, a white cotton shirt, a belzune donkey buckle decorated with multi-colored chrysoberyls, a faeweave belt, a tiny clockwork oddity, some handsomely tailored auburn brown twill trousers, some white socks, some leather workboots, a shimmering faeweave baldric with cambrinth buckles, a triple-stitched twill duffel bag labeled with "KOHAKO'S KRAFTS" and a rough leather tinker's pack.

History

Growing up in Fayrin's Rest was a fun and carefree way to spend the time. Living among Olvi also had its perks; his height was rarely an issue, and many of his surroundings were suited to his size. Kohako was always kept entertained by the various travelers and stories shared by the Traders who frequented the little settlement. So, it was no surprise that when he reached adulthood, he became a Trader himself.

Leaving his home, Kohako set out to experience the world, traveling to the various Trading Outposts and earning a living by transporting commodities. Eventually, he grew tired of it and set his sights on more lofty goals. Like many Gnomes, he picked up a side job working for the Engineering Societies as a Tinkerer, which paid his day-to-day expenses and kept food in his belly.

While he does that, he collects various items of interest in the hopes of one day opening his own shop. He can do so, but refrains from it because he wants everything to be perfect when he does open up. His good humor and spirited nature have carried him thus far, and he has hopes it will continue to lead him to both profit and to having some fun along the way.

Fun Facts

Kohako is from Fayrin's Rest and holds citizenship in the province of Ilithi. He makes a point to visit his hometown frequently in his travels.

Kohako is a fanatic about collecting Famous Faces Cards and keeps two cases on him at all times.

Kohako is also a collector of Imperial dira and keeps two coin cases on his person as well.

Kohako greatly enjoys fishing, and it's his main hobby whenever he's not working. If he could pay all of life's expenses through it, he would in a heartbeat.

Kohako's favorite part about being a Trader is doing adoptions. He is happy to bring families together, and often says that he "loves love."

Kohako will go to anyone's wedding, invited or not. He insists he has a free pass as a worshipper of Saemaus and that denying him would be bad luck for the newlywed couple.
