Found in fields around Forfedhdar, baker's caps were first discovered growing on dead plant matter in failed fields and later found to be worth cultivating on their own. The large mushroom starts off white and turns brown as it matures. With flavors that are reminiscent of bread, the earthy baker's caps are sweet when young, but mellow into savoriness with age. Fully grown, the unique mushrooms can replace bread in a sandwich, while the younger ones are often fried. |
