Description
The treehopper toad is quite large, taller than an adult Halfling and nearly twice as broad. Its long fingers are webbed for easy climbing up and down even the most slippery of slopes, and its powerful, legs can jump great distances in short order. The toad's skin is brightly colored and glossy, glistening with deadly excretions designed to quickly disorient and neutralize its prey.
In Depth
Treehopper Toads are located in a Premium only hunting area.
The toads have Cyanide poison and are able to leap from missile range into melee.
Also immune to all poisons.
Vary in color such as: a blue and lime treehopper toad, a rainbow-hued treehopper toad, and a tangerine treehopper toad.
Bard Recall
Reflecting on the creature, you remember hearing that these toads are known to inhabit, or infest, tall trees with dense canopy cover, most notably the White Laurel of Bosque Deriel. They exhibit a variety of brilliant hues in poignant contrast to their typical leafy surroundings. The bright skin shades are indicative of aposematic coloring -- nature's way of warning predators that the toads are highly poisonous and taste simply awful.
