This policy does not specifically mention registration, which would be especially useful to include for new/ignorant players looking up replacement policy. I think the policy could also use more clarity in general. Under what circumstances (likely involving registration) is an item definitely going to be replaced, definitely not going to be replaced, and when is it up to GM discretion? Furthermore, while the updated GIVE mechanics are very welcome, I think there still needs to be a policy in place that prevents people from taking items from others without their consent. For example, if an item is given to another following a logged conversation in which the giver clearly indicates the item is on loan and not a gift, I think the giver should be entitled to report the theft to the GMs and have the item returned.
