:: I've completed the category update. It looks like there are a few guilds that have zero, or almost-zero, scripts specifically written for them. Barbarians have zero currently... I will be fixing that shortly... Anyway, the new pattern now suggests that we should add several specific links to the front page's Sub Categories - '''Empaths''' need a direct link, there are 30 scripts just for them. Also, I did add the specific categories to each of the Crafting scripts for Engineering, Outfitting and Forging (I included 'mining' with the Forging stuff). All told our Crafting list is up to 40+ scripts. If you deem that worthy of splitting into separate categories, it might be worth doing so! :-) [[User:KASHNA|Kashna]] ([[User talk:KASHNA|talk]]) 15:31, 23 May 2016 (EST)

I've categorized all of the script pages that I've found. However, some of them are missing front-end and/or author info. --Isharon 20:24, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

There any sort of auto-list scheme that is possible? For example, I know many of my early scripts all worked for Wizard, Stormfront, and YASSE (thus also probably Genie), but that other scripts are only Stormfront (but also work with YASSE/Genie). --Hithrael 20:43, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure if the current script template supports that, but you can put more than one front-end in the infobox. I'll ask Caraamon. --Isharon 01:27, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
I am fairly new to Wiki creation, and also I don't know how acceptable my scripts are, but if they could be helpful how would I go about getting them onto the "Scripts" Page, and should I ask anyone for approval first? Here is my first possible submission: Forage Script(GLBasic) --Glause
Just add {{Cat|Scripts}} to the bottom of the script page. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 06:44, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Guild Categories

I would like to categorize scripts by relevance to Guild. Can we create a new category for each Guild? How do we do this - add a new SubCategory? After doing so, I would be glad to sort through stuff and add in the appropriate tag. We also should make an obvious template for anyone that wishes to add a script to this page. Kashna May 1, 2016

I have created a big category called Guild scripts, which contains categories for each guild. To categorize a script, simply edit the info box to add the appropriate guild. --ISHARON (talk) 18:12, 7 May 2016 (CDT)
|cat=combat, crafting, information, quest, training, travel, utility, Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Empath, Moon Mage, Necromancer, Paladin, Ranger, Thief, Trader, Warrior Mage
Examples: Empath scripts --ISHARON (talk) 18:17, 7 May 2016 (CDT)
I'm going through the A's now... I'd like to request a few new categories, too... one for each of the major professions.... Alchemy, Engineering, Forging, & Tailoring... unless you believe "Crafting" to be a sufficient deliniation. I'm marking them, though!  :-) Also, where are the links to each of the Guild categories? They don't show up on the Scripts page! Might be worthwhile to mark a Survival category, too - I'm marking climbing, etc, ones with that... that way we have Lore covered with Crafting, Magic... as is... Combat covers armor and weapons... but survival skills is unmarked. Kashna May 16, 2016

I think Crafting is a sufficient category, since most of the scripts identify the actual craft by name. The goal is just to have some broad categories rather than a category for each skill name. --ISHARON (talk) 17:37, 16 May 2016 (CDT)
To find the Guild script category, you click Guild scrips on the Script category page. I did not list each guild on the script page itself, because it looked too cluttered. --ISHARON (talk) 17:37, 16 May 2016 (CDT)
Most survival scripts would fall under Training. I'm not opposed to adding a Survival subcategory, however. --ISHARON (talk) 17:39, 16 May 2016 (CDT)
I've completed the category update. It looks like there are a few guilds that have zero, or almost-zero, scripts specifically written for them. Barbarians have zero currently... I will be fixing that shortly... Anyway, the new pattern now suggests that we should add several specific links to the front page's Sub Categories - Empaths need a direct link, there are 30 scripts just for them. :-) Kashna (talk) 15:31, 23 May 2016 (EST)
