Azurite is a soft, deep-blue copper mineral. It can be found in colors from azure-blue and dark blue to pale blue or blue-grey.

In Elanthia, azurite has magical properties, has been utilized in runestones and is associated with the Shadows spell.

This material is required for alterations.

Intricate detailing via carving is not possible though engraving is fine.
