Howdy folks. So, a few things....
Upon reviewing the tactics code, I discovered that players were using their Evasion Defense score to defend against Tactics attacks. This has now been corrected to be Defending skill + Reflex bonus as was originally intended. As a result of this I increased the difficulty of tactics maneuvers to compensate for the majority of players having more Evasion ranks than Defending ranks - and more ways of bonusing evasion vs defending. As for shove, I added a cooldown that makes subsequent shoves harder for 30-60 seconds - only against other players. Messaging was added so both parties can understand when this penalty has ended. This is per-player, so your shoving won't penalize someone else's shoving. Other tactics maneuvers do not have this cooldown. Nothing should have changed with regards to using Tactics abilities on critters. I had to redo a lot of code in places, so please let me know if anything is acting funny. | |
