silver ritual drum adorned with bas-relief scenes | |
---|---|
Look: | The silver panels on the sides of the drum, highlighted in gold overlay, portray the story of the World Dragon. In one scene, four moons grace a peaceful night sky. The next captures the creature's hatching, fragments of Grazhir raining down to Elanthia. Several following panels depict the battle between the Immortals and the World Dragon, ending with Peri'el singing to the sleeping beast. Oddly, the final panel is blank, an ominous if deliberate omission. |
