House Tanglefoot is the only Zoluren noble family to found and then control an entire city. It was Daffleberry Tanglefoot that founded Arthe Dale in 79 A.V., a story which is told in Arthe Dale Tale.

While small in size, the Tanglefoot family is arguably one of the most wealthy Trading families in the province.
