Title command

The TITLE command lets you set or clear a title that appears before or after your name.

Syntax

TITLE PRE|AFFILIATION LIST {CATEGORY} - Lists the pertinent titles you are eligible for.
TITLE PRE LIST - Lists the valid categories.
TITLE LIST - Same as above.
TITLE PRE|POST CHOOSE {CATEGORY} {NAME} - Chooses the appropriate name
TITLE PRE|POST|AFFILIATION OFF - Clears the selected pre|post|affiliation title field
TITLE AFFILIATION ON - Turns the affiliation title field back on
TITLE AFFILIATION CHOOSE (1, 2, 3, 4) - Selects the appropriate affiliation post-title
TITLE AFFILIATION CLEAR (1, 2, 3) - Clears the selected affiliation title slot

TITLE FIND {title} - Searches the title system for particular titles and lists their requirements.

Title Categories

• TITLE LIST: lists the categories of titles that are available to you.
• TITLE LIST <category>: lists the titles within that category that are available to you.

More titles become available to you within each category as you meet certain requirements based on your skills, attributes, circle, guild, and/or other criteria. Learn more about all possible titles on the Category:Titles page.

 The following categories are available to you (you may not have titles available in all categories):
 
 Blunt, Ranged, Brawling, GenEdged, SpecEdged, Thrown, Pole, Shield, Slings, Weapons, WeaponMaster, Performer, PrimaryMagic, Magic, Money, Ownership, Survival1, Survival2, Survival3, Lore, Criminal, Generic, Racial, Premium, Order, Religion, Subscription, Novice, Practitioner, Dilettante, Aficionado, Adept, Expert, Professional, Authority, Genius, Savant, Master, GrandMaster, Guru, Legend, <your guild>, Custom.

Pre Titles

• Titles that appear before your name are known as pre titles.
• Pre-titles display before your name in a room's description.
• You may choose a pre-title from the titles available to you in TITLE PRE LIST <category>.

Post Titles

• Titles that appear after your name are known as post titles.
• Post-titles display after your name when someone LOOKs at your character.
• You may choose a post-title from the titles available to you in TITLE PRE LIST <category>.

Examples:

 >look katoak
 You see Bloodwraith Katoak, Ghost of Elanthia, an Elf.

Affiliation Titles

Affiliation titles are a special kind of post-title. Learn more on the Affiliation Titles page.

Examples:

 >look mysty
 You see Blood Channeler Mystyrain Silverlining of the Order of the Black Fox, an Elothean Empath.

Thief Title Commands

Thieves have the ability to pretend to be another guild. They have access to these extra commands.

TITLE PRETEND CHOOSE {GUILD} - Chooses your pretend guild.  This is permanent!
TITLE PRETEND CHOOSE {NAME} - Chooses your pretend title
TITLE PRETEND CLEAR - Clears your pretend title AND Guild!
TITLE PRE HIDE - Hides your real title from other thieves
TITLE PRE SHOW - Shows your real title to other thieves
