[Rest of Ages Inn, Gulthorn's Hearth Room]
The dining room is one large open hearth. A curved fireback along the far wall leads to a hollow chimney branch. Tall, iron firedogs cradle logs that burn over a bed of embers, in which stand mullers of beer and spiced wine. Gridirons hold sizzling hunks of game while rich stews and savory soups bubble in great, blackened cauldrons. Despite the smoke and heat, the food and the atmosphere here are irresistible, as are the charms of the reserved yet solicitous proprietor, Gulthorn. You also see an engraved menuboard.

[Rest of Ages Inn, Taproot Tavern]
Hollowed out of massive roots, this tavern is homey yet somehow elegant. Intimate tables of rich woods in the shape of large slices of tree trunks are surrounded by plush banquettes. The semi-circular bar is hewn from the tree itself, carefully sculpted into a single piece and covered with glorious depictions of forest life in the golden Elven age. It is low to the ground, and patrons sit on velvet pillows around it conversing with Ulipher, the silver-haired tapster. You also see a menu.
