| Combat maneuver that makes a slow, heavily fatiguing attack with a held melee weapon, equally suited to every damage type. It is one of the specific maneuvers that make up weapon combos. |
| Unknown |
The SWEEP command swings a held melee weapon low across an opponent. It is slow, extremely fatiguing and unbalancing, and unlike the other heavy maneuvers it has no weapon preference at all, so it performs the same whatever you are holding.
Syntax
- SWEEP
- Attack the enemy you are already engaged with, or pick a new one if you are not engaged.
- SWEEP <enemy>
- Attack the indicated enemy.
- SWEEP <enemy> <body part>
- Attack the indicated enemy, aiming for the named body part.
- SWEEP LEFT <enemy>
- Attack with the weapon in your off hand, training Offhand Weapon skill alongside the weapon skill.
- SWEEP HELP
- Basic syntax help. SWEEP HELP FULL gives the maneuver's mechanical profile, and SWEEP HELP LIST lists the other combat options.
Detailed Information
Sweep is a damage dealing maneuver.
Sweep tends to be a extremely fatiguing maneuver. Attacking again too soon can make this worse.

Sweep temporarily penalizes all defenses, but is equally suited to evasion, parry, and shield defenses.
Notes
- CHOP, BASH, LUNGE and SWEEP all share a minimum roundtime. See Roundtime for the figures by weapon weight.
- Sweep strikes a single opponent. It is not an area attack.
